When the AR.Drone made a debut a year ago, the respective quadrocopter definitely made headlines, as the radio-controlled copter definitely hit everyone’s hotspot. However, since its initial debut a year ago at Google I/O, not much news has hit the streets, up until now.

Apparently, the AR.Done is officially missing in action, but another alternative has cropped up recently. Dubbed as the AR.FreeFlight, this particular quadrocopter is an UAV and can be controlled through its specific application, which is now available on the Android. Basically, the AR.FreeFlight costs $299 to purchase, and I’m confident that it will give you tons of fun, flying the quadrocopter around your neighborhood, while annoying your neighbors in the process, don’t you think so?

Clearwire: Erik Prusch to Take Over as CEO
Monday, 15 August 2011
It’s practically normal to see large multinational organizations changing leadership, as the change allows the company to gain better capabilities to face various economic challenges. And with it comes to Clearwire, the company is somewhat accustomed into changing their CEO, and it’s been precisely 5 months, since the last time Clearwire had a permanent CEO at the helm.

Generally, Clearwire has already made plans to promote Erik Prusch, the company's Chief Operating Officer, to take the place of Bill Morrow. Apparently, Erik Prusch will inherit an uphill task as the company’s CEO, whereby he will be required to secure a whopping $600 million in capital that would be used to fund Clearwire's buildout of LTE. And if Erik Prusch fails to find the cash, the company will run out of cash by the end of 2012. Luckily, Erik Prusch isn’t alone, whereby John Stanton, the Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors, has been backing him up in the effort.

Classic Army Airsoft
Monday, 15 August 2011
To tell you the truth, I’m an adrenalin junkie and I enjoy participating in outdoor activities tremendously. And whenever I am on a long holiday, I always spend quality time at my grandfather’s ranch down south, and I enjoy going hunting with my kids. However, unlike mainstream hunters that use real guns in their hunting activities, I enjoy hunting with an air gun instead. Basically, air guns are safer to use, and these guns offer a rather realistic user experience when fired. And judging by the fact that air guns are safer than real guns, I got several air guns in my arsenal, and my kids would go hunting with me using these air guns too.

To my knowledge, there are several types of air guns available, such as the Classic Army Airsoft, Classic Army AUG A2 AEG Electric Airsoft Gun, Classic Army SAR Offizier M41 FS Full Metal AEG Airsoft Rifle, Sportline CA90 AEG, M15A4 AEG Airsoft Rifle, Echo1 USA Full Size Mini-Gun, Echo1 M249 Para AEG, Echo1 USA Full Metal SCAR / ASC-Heavy AEG Airsoft Rifle, and many more. Honestly speaking, I enjoy using the Echo1 M249 Para AEG tremendously, as the air gun comes with an extended storage that allows me to store ample amount of ammunition. On the other hand, I also find the AK47 to be rather fascinating too, as this particular air gun offers extended accuracy and it’s extremely easy to handle too. Basically, I am eyeing to purchase the Echo 1 USA Full Size Mini-Gun as my next air gun. The respective mini gun looks and feel like a full-fledge mini gun, and it even runs on a rotating barrel which can fire several thousands of rounds per minute. However, since it costs a small fortune to purchase the mini gun, I would require some time to gather the necessary resources in order to make the purchase. Alternatively, I am looking forward to purchase the M15A4 AEG Airsoft Rifle as a birthday present for my son. In fact, my son has been frequently reminding me to purchase that particular air gun for his birthday, and I’m in the midst of finalizing my purchase. Basically, the M15A4 AEG Airsoft Rifle looks exactly like the M15A4 Carbine, and the respective air gun can store 300 rounds and has a firing rate of 390fps. With so many air guns available in the market, I find this pastime activity to be very fulfilling and extremely rewarding indeed.
