Data Robotics Debuts 8-bay DroboPro FS |

Data Robotics has yet again revolutionized their storage solutions, whereby the latest DroboPro FS features an 8-bay in which you can outfit these bays with storage drives. Basically, the Drobo FS also has a faster processing clock speed, whereby Data Robotics has upgraded the CPU to a 1GHz processor, as compared to the older 800MHz processor.
The Drobo FS also comes with a gigabit Ethernet jack, and there’s even a second port that can be used to connect to a different sub-network. Also, the Drobo FS can be configured to automatically backup your files on an off-site location, which is a pretty good fail-safe mechanism indeed.
Well an empty Drobo FS would cost you a whopping $1,999, while the 8TB model is yours for $2,699. The 16TB model is for sale at $3,299.
