Robots can be the best customer relationship assistance, whereby these robots can be programmed to satisfy any client’s PR needs. Nevertheless, the Japanese researchers surely have created so many robots that have wide applications, and one of these segments include social robots.
In fact, Fujitsu has just recently created their very first social robot bear, whereby these bears are programmed to aid children or elderly people. Of course, the social bear has the capability to smile, laugh, and it also can wave at people. And when the social robot bear is left alone, it will automatically fall asleep and ignore any people who are near the bear. And according to Fujitsu, it seems their robot bears utilize 12 actuators, and can perform 300 actions through its face, next and body. There’re 13 skin touch sensor, tilt sensor, hand grip sensors, and even a microphone. Of course the social robot bear is perfect for any childcare center or nursing homes, don’t you think so?
However, the robot social bear is still in its beta stage, so you won’t be seeing any of these bears anytime soon.
