It seems GammaTech has recently ungraded their D12C convertible laptop, whereby this particular laptop will now run on the latest Core i5 processor. Also, the laptop features unprecedented rigid and ruggedness, whereby it comes with various paddings and shock absorbers that can take the beating from rugged usage. In fact, the exterior can withstand drop and shocks too, while the interior is resistant to water and dust.
Also, the D12C convertible laptop comes with a nifty 12.1 inch LED-backlit WXGA touchscreen. And as for the processor, it can run on the Core i5-540M. The laptop can support up to 8GB of RAM, and other features include the 1.3 megapixel webcam. Bluetooth connectivity, WiFi, smartcard reader, and there’s also an optional integrated carry handle too. There’s no word on the pricing, but I’m guessing that you’ll be paying a premium price for the ruggedness of the laptop.
