Looks like Nokia is going ahead with their MeeGo devices, whereby the company has just unveiled their MeeGo-driven smartphone, called the Nokia N9. Basically, the N9 has a slab-like outlook, and it is equipped with a 3.9-inch AMOLED screen that supports 854x480 resolution. The smartphone also has 16GB to up to 64GB onboard memory, and most surprisingly, it is equipped with a gigantic 1GB of RAM that is encased in its polycarbonate shell.
Also, the N9 is powered by the OMAP3630 1 Ghz processor, while graphics are processed by a dedicated PowerVR SGX530 GPU. And as for connectivity, the N9 supports quad-band GSM and penta-band WCDMA radios, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, and also NFC. Measuring in at 116.45- x 61.2- x 7.6-12.1mm, while weighing only 135 grams, still, the N9 has an extremely odd squarish-slab design. The N9 also boasts a battery capacity that allows 50 hours of music playback, 4.5 hours on video, and 11 hours of none-stop yapping. Nokia will also make 3 different colors available, namely the black, cyan, and magenta. Surely, the N9 is an impressive lineup – why didn’t Nokia push this product out earlier?
